At the Galesburg Rescue Mission, we believe that true transformation begins with hope, and Chaplain Josh Eberhardt faithfully brings that hope to our residents every single day. Josh's ministry extends far beyond leading Bible studies or chapel services. Since Josh has been with the Galesburg Rescue Mission we have had 5 baptisms and a total of 7 salvations, God willing that number will continue to grow. Josh takes the time to build genuine relationships with the men and women we serve, meeting them where they are with compassion, grace, and the truth of God's Word. Whether he's praying with someone who feels hopeless, offering biblical guidance during a difficult season, or simply listening with an open heart, Josh consistently demonstrates Christ's love in practical and meaningful ways. His servant's heart is evident throughout the Mission. He encourages residents to grow spiritually, challenges them to pursue lasting life change, and reminds them that their past does not define their future. Through his faithful presence, many individuals have found renewed purpose, restored faith, and the courage to continue their recovery journey. Chaplain Josh is an invaluable part of our team. His dedication, humility, and unwavering commitment to sharing the Gospel have made a lasting impact on countless lives. We are deeply grateful for his ministry and the difference he continues to make each day.
