The Galesburg Rescue Mission and Women's Shelter is a charitable, non-denominational Christian organization.
Our purpose is to share God's love with everyone seeking assistance in the following ways:
Share the Lord Jesus Christ, the world's crucified and risen Savior.
Provide food, clothing, shelter, and counseling to those in need.
Encourage cleanliness, hard work, responsibility, thriftiness, and moral living.
Help people find freedom from addictive behaviors and destructive lifestyles.
Lead individuals and families to develop strong confidence in Christ, through whom they can establish healthy relationships with God, family, church, and community members.
Collaborate with churches, service clubs, and other human service organizations to better address the needs of suffering individuals.
Serve the community by ministering to the homeless and hungry, ensuring they do not resort to begging or stealing to meet their needs.
